It’s been a very busy couple of weeks in the Tiwari-Watson household as we get ready to move house at the end of November. We’ve tried to do a lot of the packing ourselves with the help of the in law’s but thankfully we’ve also got a professional company coming in for the rest! Raashi and I just have to pack the most important (but most difficult) packages now which are the 3 kids. Oh and we can’t forget about the dog wee Fergie 🐶. I’m actually wondering what he’s going to bark at now that we’re moving a bit further away from the flight path! 🤷🏻♂️✈️
We’re actually moving in with Raashi’s mum and dad until our new house is ready. They’ll be happy to have us but it could be until February so I think by then they’ll be happier to kick us back out 😆 – especially if wee Fergs finds something else that happens every 10 minutes that he can bark at!
Fergie (the human one) wouldn’t have been impressed last week when I was at Old Trafford to watch Man United get beaten 5-0 by Liverpool:
I was actually back down in Manchester again this weekend on a dental CPD course about implants and bone grafting. It was a bit painful to return to the scene of the crime so soon to be honest. My train was cancelled due to flooding on Thursday so I had to drive down after work. My teeth took an absolute battering on the way down with the Red bull, coffee, haribo & skittles but along with Micheal Mcintyre’s audio book they were essential for the drive after a long day at work. I guess being at a course with 20 other dentists wasn’t the worst place to be with toothache should it arise anyway!
The course itself was really good. It was a Friday and Saturday thing so it meant staying over in a hotel on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday night I was glad to get straight to my bed but on Friday night I went to the cinema right next to the hotel for something to do. I was trying to blend in and pretend I actually had some friends but after queuing for 30 minutes for popcorn I then accidentally spilt it all over the floor when trying to fill my juice up. I probably should have called it a day there and then but I felt I owed it to the staff member who gave me a free popcorn refill, to plough on. Sadly the film itself was the worst I’ve ever seen. It was called ‘Dune’. If ever you have absolutely nothing else to do and no friends available just sit in a dark room instead, don’t go see Dune. If you absolutely must then just bring your own popcorn in a bag!
I was glad to get back home in time for the Halloween party today with the family:
The Adams family..
There’s still plenty of sweets left for me to continue my weekend as it started. Looking forward to going back to work next week just to get one of our dentists to give me a much needed M.O.T!
Quick reminder that we’re still on the lookout for a new dental therapist at TWDC, for anyone reading who may be interested please get in touch.
Enjoy the rest of your Halloween all, easy on the sweets and if you need an M.O.T like me give us a shout!
